Thousand of people gathered in central Delhi’s Jantar Mantar in protest against the government over the amended Citizenship Act. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation briefly shut entry and exit gates at Janpath Metro Station. The protest at Jantar Mantar came a day after the police and students clashed on the streets outside Jamia Millia Islamia University in south Delhi.
