Suvendu Adhikari also resigned from the primary membership of TMC on Thursday, after which he joined the BJP on Saturday. Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress has suffered a major setback before the upcoming West Bengal assembly elections. Apart from him, TMC MP Sunil Mandal and 9 other MLAs of TMC, Left and Congress have also officially joined the BJP.
