As authorities prepare to fight the coronavirus pandemic, the number of coronavirus cases climbed to 649 in India on Thursday and the death toll rose to 16.
Over 20 new Covid-19 cases from different parts of the country were reported on Thursday. According to the Health ministry data, the number of active Covid-19 cases in the country stood at 596.
