A new CCTV footage accessed by India Today Claims that Students helped Protesters to hide inside Jamia Library. Earlier CCTV footage released by Jamia Co-Ordination Committee(JCC) claimed Police brutality on students studying for their Examination. The police continue beating up students as they tried to flee. The Jamia Coordination Committee (JCC), a group comprising students and alumni of the varsity, has released the footage. Congress general Secretary Priyanka Gandhi and MP Shashi Tharoor criticized Delhi Police and Central Govt. for the brutality on Students.HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank has also given a statement on the whole issue.
