In a big outreach to Matua community in Bangladesh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers at a Matua temple in Orakandi, the birthplace of Hindu mystic figure and Matua community’s spiritual guru Harichand Thakur. He also addressed the Matua community in Orakandi during the second day of his Bangladesh visit. PM Modi’s Matua outreach coincides with the first phase of assembly elections in West Bengal.
