Hockey: Indian hockey team has defeated the defending Olympic champions Argentina to seal a place in the quarter finals of the Tokyo olympics 2020. India has defeated Arentina 3-1 in their fourth group match. Harmanpreet Singh, Vivek Sagar Prasad and Varun Kumar scored goals for India whereas Maico Casella scored for Argentina. With this win Indian team now has 9 points to their name and with that they are at the second spot in the group. With 12 points the mighty Australians are at the top of the group A. With 4 points each Spain, New Zealand and Argentina are at third, fourth and fifth position. Top 4 team from each group will qualify for the quarter finals.
