Asserting that the DNA of all Indians is the same, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday urged Muslims not to get “trapped in the cycle of fear” that Islam is in danger in India. Addressing an event organized by the Muslim Rashtriya Manch on the theme ‘Hindustani First, Hindustan First’, he said that people can’t be differentiated on how they worship. He also took on those indulging in lynching, saying, “They are against Hindutava”. Though at times, some false cases of lynching have been registered against people, Bhagwat said. “Don’t get trapped in the cycle of fear that Islam is in danger in India,” he said at the event. He got trolled over this comment by trolls. France has opened the investigation into the alleged “corruption and favoritism” in the #Rafale deal signed with India in 2016 for the sale of 36 Dassault-built fighter jets. A French judge has also been appointed to lead a judicial probe in the 7.8 billion euros worth deal. “The highly sensitive probe into the inter-governmental deal signed in 2016 was formally opened on June 14,” a French online investigative journal said. French publication Mediapart on Friday reported that the criminal investigation will be led by an independent magistrate “who will, among other elements, examine questions surrounding the actions of former French president François Hollande”.
