In a latest development the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has decided to offer relaxation in the time period between two Covishield doses for people falling in certain categories. According to Ministry’s release that this relaxation is also being offered to students travelling abroad for studies.
The government said that the stipulated gap of 12 to 16 weeks between the two Covishield doses will be reduced for people falling under the special categories set by the Ministry of Health, which includes people travelling for studies, jobs, or the Olympics. Gap between two covaxin jabs will be the unchanged.
