Andhra Pradesh will have one state capital – Amravati. Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy had passed a legislation to have three capitals — Amaravati as Legislative capital, Visakhapatnam as the Executive capital, and Kurnool as the Judicial capital. This act has been repealed.
