India vs New Zealand test series: Two days before the first test match of the series to be played in kanpur from 25th of November, Indian batter KL Rahul has got injured and been ruled out of the complete series. As per the BCCI report Rahul has sustained a muscle strain on his left thigh and will now undergo rehabilitation at NCA in preparation for the series against South Africa scheduled next month. The All-India Senior Selection Committee has named Suryakumar Yadav as KL Rahul’s replacement, who could get lucky to make a test debut for India. In Rahul’s absence Mayank Aggarwal and Shubhman Gill would probably open the innings for India. While Suryakumar Yadav or Shreyas Iyer could get to play at Virat Kohli’s no4 position in the first test as their test debut.
