Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, born in 1968 was nicknamed ‘Baradar’ by the founder of Taliban, Mulla Omar. When Mulla Omar took over Afghanistan in 1996 with the help of Taliban Forces, Mulla Baradar was right by his ride. With time he evolved in most dependable commander of Taliban and took reins of Taliban after Mulla Omar’s Death. One of the key people behind drawing up agreements with America in Doha, Qatar, Mulla Baradar is rumored to be the next president of Afghanistan.
