Salt, one of the key ingredients of food preparations in India, also has a flavourful variant called Pisi Noon that’s commonly found in mountainous region. During our visit to Kakrighat(Nainital), we came across Himalayan Flavours store that sells 24 varieties of Pisi Noon. The flavoured salt that’s is available here is prepared by pahadi women.
