We sat down for an interview with Congress man, ex Chief Minister and the current Leader of Opposition in Goa – Digambar Kamat. Kamat is the sole senior MLA left in Congress after senior leaders like Ravi Naik, Pratap Rane and Luizinho Faleiro either switched sides or were sidelined by the party itself. We asked Kamat about the poll strategy of an entirely new Congress. We also quizz him about the curious situation in which Congress won the most seats in Goa Assembly elections 2017 but failed to form the government and then kept losing MLA’s till Kamat was the only senior leader left.
