You will be surprised to know that the voice message feature on WhatsApp was introduced in the year 2013 but the first major change happened last year. WhatsApp enabled the option of Voice Message Preview for users last year. Prior to this, voice messages could only be recorded and sent. The only option was to play the message inside the chat window in case the message didn’t go through or something went wrong. That is, the message you have sent could not be checked before sending it. With the arrival of the new feature, it is now possible to listen before sending a voice message.
