Social media users are sharing a video of a man being brutally beaten by a mob in the presence of a Police Officer. The people beating the man are seen chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’. It is being claimed that the video is from Uttar Pradesh where BJP workers, after their win in the Vidhan Sabha Elections are thrashing people. We investigated the video and found that the claim is misleading. The incident took place in 2019 in Bihar’s Bhabua Nagar.
