A unique case is making news now. A furniture designer, Kunal Merchant declined to build a special table for PM Narendra Modi. The former got a mail from a person claiming to be the PM’s personal secretary. He requested the designer to build a special table for the PMO.
Merchant had earlier shared the screenshots of the email from the PMO, informing that he denied to comply with the request, owing to his social and political beliefs.
The post went viral and came under the radar of the police too. They investigated and found that the person who approached Kunal Merchant was indeed a fraud. Following this a case has been registered against the latter.
