Few days ago, a tweet went viral on Twitter which stated that “A lot of men dont know what vasectomy is.” This tweet went viral and people flooded it’s comment section with hilarious reply.
Vasectomy is procedure for male sterilization or we can say that it is permanent contraception methord. Vasectomy as an option is still not explored by men in India. In most cases, the fear of permanent infertility is what discourages men from getting a vasectomy. There are also unfounded fears of losing sexual prowess and feeling “less of a man” among the Indian male population.
Toxic masculinity prevents many males in the country from opting for the procedure. In this episode of #Meow we discussed about the process of vasectomy and and clarified the myths which float around it.
