The choice of MP Navneet Rana and her husband, MLA Ravi Rana, to chant the Hanuman Chalisa at a temple in Nagpur on Saturday has angered members of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), who have announced that they will do the same at the same temple. Lord Hanuman’s Pashchimeshwar temple is located in Nagpur’s Ram Nagar neighbourhood. On Saturdays, the temple attracts a large audience of 8,000-10,000 worshippers who come to pray.
