After the United States and Canada, Singapore and the United Arab Emirates have approved the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine for emergency use in the 12-15 age group. The European Medical Agency is also in the process of reviewing the use of the Pfizer vaccine in kids.
The development comes amid some countries seeing more infections in children this year compared to last year as more transmissible variants of coronavirus emerge.
