The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has stepped up its attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, seeking an explanation, based on an interview of former Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad, who said Rahul goes abroad and meets ‘undesirable businessmen’.
‘Who these businessmen are’, the BJP has asked.
Ghulam Nabi Azad’s claim of Rahul Gandhi meeting ‘undesirable businessmen’ came days after the latter took a swipe at some leaders who have quit the Congress in recent years as he kept up his offensive against the government over the Adani issue.
