दिल्ली में यमुना नदी की सफाई के लिए किए जा रहे प्रयासों का असर दिखने लगा है। मार्च में दिल्ली प्रदूषण नियंत्रण समिति (डीपीसीसी) की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार यमुना में मल-मूत्र से होने वाले प्रदूषण की स्थिति में सुधार हुआ है। इससे यमुना के साफ होने की उम्मीद की जा सकती है। हालांकि अभी भी यमुना का पानी पीने योग्य नहीं है।
The efforts being made to clean the Yamuna river in Delhi have started showing results. According to the report of Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC) in March, the condition of pollution caused by faeces and urine in Yamuna has improved. Due to this, Yamuna can be expected to become clean. However, the water of Yamuna is still not potable.
