A shocking controversy has erupted in Madhya Pradesh’s Shahdol district, where officials allegedly consumed 13 kg of dry fruits, 30 kg of snacks, and more in a one-hour meeting under the Jal Ganga Samvardhan Mission. Actually, Jal Chaupal was organized in Shahdol district last month, in which senior officials of the district, junior employees and villagers were present. The purpose of the Chaupal was to go from village to village and teach about water conservation. But the purchases recorded in the Panchayat register in the name of Chaupal are under question.
