उत्तर प्रदेश के मेरठ से एक चौंकाने वाला मामला सामने आया है, जहां मौलवी का बेटा कृष्णा बनकर मंदिर में पुजारी की भूमिका निभा रहा था. असली नाम कासिम है और वह बिहार का रहने वाला है. हिंदू संगठनों के विरोध के बाद इस पूरे मामले की परतें खुलीं. यह पूरा मामला दादरी के एक मंदिर से जुड़ा है, जहां कासिम ने अपना नाम कृष्णा बताकर खुद को हिंदू पुजारी के रूप में पेश किया. वह न सिर्फ मंदिर में मंत्रोच्चार कर पूजा-पाठ करता था, बल्कि महिलाओं का हाथ देखकर भविष्य बताने का भी ढोंग करता था.
