In Operation Mahadev, three terrorists have been killed in the Dachigam area. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken two accused, Farvez Ahmed Jothar and Bashir Ahmed Jothar, who allegedly harboured the terrorists, for identification of the bodies. Security forces believe one of the slain terrorists could be Suleyman Shah, the mastermind of the Pahalgam terror attack. The operation was launched based on a technical signal from a Chinese device that was activated. According to a speaker, “security forces do not want to make any sort of a mistake. And that is why it is taking time for identification.” The final confirmation of the terrorists’ identities is awaited as the bodies have been brought to Srinagar.
