Pakistani Women in Bhagalpur बिहार में मतदाता सूची के विशेष गहन पुनरीक्षण (एसआइआर) के दौरान भागलपुर जिले में पाकिस्तानी महिला के सरकारी शिक्षक होने की जानकारी ने शिक्षा विभाग के साथ-साथ शासन-प्रशासन को भी हिलाकर रख दिया है। मामला इमराना खातून उर्फ इमराना खानम का है, जिनके बारे में गृह विशेष विभाग की रिपोर्ट में यह दावा किया गया है कि वह मूलरूप से पाकिस्तानी नागरिक है और पिछले पांच दशकों से पहचान बदलकर भागलपुर में रह रही है। उन्होंने बिना भारतीय नागरिकता प्राप्त किए न केवल देश की शैक्षणिक परीक्षाएं पास कीं, बल्कि बिहार में सरकारी शिक्षक की नौकरी भी हासिल कर ली।

The case is of Imrana Khatoon alias Imrana Khanam, about whom it has been claimed in the report of the Home Special Department that she is basically a Pakistani citizen and has been living in Bhagalpur for the last five decades by changing her identity. Without obtaining Indian citizenship, she not only passed the educational examinations of the country but also got the job of a government teacher in Bihar.
