Dramatic visuals emerge from Nepal as the country grapples with violent protests over corruption and censorship. Ministers and their families were seen being evacuated with the help of army helicopters using rope slings, after mobs targeted them in Kathmandu. The unrest began after the KP Sharma Oli-led government banned 26 platforms including YouTube, sparking anger over freedom of speech and corruption. Within days, protests turned violent, leaving 30 people dead and several government buildings, including the parliament, set on fire. Former PM Sher Bahadur Deuba and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel were also attacked by protesters.
