Assamese singer Zubeen Garg tragically died while scuba diving without a life jacket in Singapore, as confirmed by Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, citing PTI News. Sarma stated that an investigation will question the event organizers and those present during Garg’s final moments. An FIR has been filed against North East India Festival organizer Shyamkanu Mahanta and Garg’s manager Siddharth Sharma at Morigaon police station. The case has been handed over to the CID for further investigation.
