Ten days after singer Zubeen Garg’s death, his wife Garima Saikia Garg has called it a “clear case of negligence.” She alleged he was exhausted yet allowed to swim without a life jacket, and filed an FIR against those who accompanied him to Singapore. The Assam government has handed the probe to CID, with SIT investigating. CM Himanta Biswa Sarma has assured the case may go to CBI if needed.
