Following this development on Sunday night, the trophy was reportedly taken away, leaving the victorious Indian team without their prize. Now, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is set to formally raise the issue at an upcoming ACC meeting. As stated in the report, “India had said that India will not accept the trophy from Mohsin Naqvi who is the ACC chief, but the trophy was then taken away and India did not get the Asia Cup trophy.” The BCCI will reportedly put forward its stance regarding the events that transpired post-match.
