The Indian Air Force Chief hailed Operation Sindoor as one of the year’s most significant military actions, launched in response to the Pehalgam attack. The chief stated that the operation’s success was due to the “full freedom” given to the forces and a robust air defence infrastructure that proved to be a “game changer.” A key achievement highlighted was a targeted strike deep inside enemy territory, with the chief noting, “the longest kill we achieved was of more than 300 kilometers in their territory.” The operation carefully targeted terror camps and air bases in Pakistan. It will go down in history as a war that started with a clear goal and concluded with a nationally-decided ceasefire, despite Pakistan’s pleas.
