A fire broke out late Sunday night at 11:20 PM in the Neuro ICU storage of Jaipur’s SMS Hospital Trauma Center, likely due to a short circuit. The fire, originating in a store with paper, ICU equipment, and blood sampler tubes, claimed eight lives, including three women. Of the 11 patients in the ICU and 13 in the adjacent ICU, a six-member committee has been formed to investigate the incident. Watch full video.
