उत्तर प्रदेश में मिशन शक्ति के दौरान अपराधियों के खिलाफ पुलिस की सख्त कार्रवाई जारी है। पिछले आठ वर्षों में मेरठ जोन में सबसे अधिक पुलिस मुठभेड़ें हुई हैं, जिनमें 85 बदमाश मारे गए हैं। पुलिस ने मुजफ्फरनगर में तीन कुख्यात अपराधियों को भी ढेर किया है। प्रदेश में अब तक 31,908 अपराधी गिरफ्तार किए गए हैं, जबकि 18 पुलिसकर्मी शहीद हुए हैं।

Meerut zone has witnessed the highest number of police encounters in the last eight years, with 85 criminals killed. Police also killed three notorious criminals in Muzaffarnagar. So far, 31,908 criminals have been arrested in the state, while 18 police personnel have been martyred.
