The Janata Dal United has released its first list of 57 candidates. The list includes strongman Anant Singh from Mokama and former minister Shyam Rajak from Phulwari. Furthermore, candidates have been fielded in four of the seats previously allocated to Chirag Paswan. The Nitish Kumar-led Janata Dal United party has been actively discussing seat-sharing with the NDA, but the seat allocation issue remains controversial.
