-The non-binding National Floor Level Minimum Wage (NFLMW) has remained unchanged since 2017, a situation that could worsen the income crisis among vast sections of population, mainly daily-wage workers.
-Currently, the minimum wage for an unskilled worker in Delhi stands at Es 710 per day, whereas the same in Bihar is Rs 428.
-India’s unemployment rate edges up to 5.2% in September, urban women hit hardest
