According to the report by Nikhil Naaz, the exclusion of Arshdeep Singh, ‘India’s highest wicket-taker in T20s overall’, is a point that ‘will be debated for the next few days’. Despite the washout, there were positives for India as Suryakumar Yadav and Shubman Gill found form. India had reached 97 for 1 in under 10 overs before the rain forced the game to be called off, leaving the series at 0-0.
