Russian President Vladimir Putin is arriving in India on Thursday. Putin will arrive in Delhi around 6 pm on Thursday for his two-day visit. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will host a private dinner in his honor. The overarching objective of Putin’s visit is to strengthen the India-Russia strategic and economic partnership, especially at a time when India’s relations with the United States are rapidly deteriorating.
