Uttarakhand police have arrested a Bajrang Dal leader and registered an FIR after a Kashmiri shawl seller was attacked in Udham Singh Nagar and threatened with death. The action has been taken following intervention by the Jammu and Kashmir Students Association (JKSA). The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has asserted a “zero tolerance” policy against assaults on Kashmiri shawl sellers after a trader was brutally attacked and threatened with death in Udham Singh Nagar district in Uttarakhand.
