India Big Action On Bangladesh: भारत ने बांग्लादेश को ‘नॉन फैमिली’ यानी परिवार के साथ न भेजे जाने वाले राजनयिक तैनाती स्थल के रूप में दर्ज करने का फ़ैसला किया है.इसका मतलब यह है कि बांग्लादेश में तैनात किए जाने वाले भारतीय राजनयिक और अधिकारी अब अपने पति या पत्नी और बच्चों को अपने साथ नहीं ले जा सकेंगे.अब तक भारतीय विदेश मंत्रालय ने ‘नॉन फैमिली’ की यह श्रेणी सिर्फ़ कुछ ही देशों पर लागू की थी, जिनमें इराक़, अफ़ग़ानिस्तान, पाकिस्तान और दक्षिण सूडान शामिल हैं. इस ताज़ा फ़ैसले के बाद अब बांग्लादेश को भी इस सूची में शामिल कर लिया गया है.
India has decided to classify Bangladesh as a “non-family” diplomatic posting. This means that Indian diplomats and officials posted to Bangladesh will no longer be able to take their spouses and children with them. Until now, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs had applied this “non-family” category to only a few countries, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and South Sudan. With this latest decision, Bangladesh has now been added to this list.
