अमेरिका के राष्ट्रपति ट्रंप ने अपने उस दावों से सबको कन्फूज कर दिया है जिसमें उन्होंने कहा था कि पीएम मोदी रूस से तेल न खरीदने पर सहमत हो गए थे..जहां ट्रंप को दो टूक जवाब देते हुए रूस ने साफ कहा कि भारत अगर तेल के लिए कुछ नए विकल्प तलाश रहा है, तो इसमें उसे कोई आपत्ति नहीं है और न ही ये कोई नई बात है.. भारत एक आजाद देश है और वो किसी भी देश से तेल खरीद सकता है..भारत ने रूस और वेनेजुएला से कच्चे तेल की खरीद को लेकर अपना रुख स्पष्ट कर दिया है. विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रवक्ता रणधीर जायसवाल ने कहा है कि देश की प्राथमिकता 140 करोड़ लोगों की ऊर्जा सुरक्षा है. इसी सोच के तहत भारत लगातार अलग-अलग देशों से कच्चे तेल और गैस की आपूर्ति विकल्पों की तलाश करता रहता है.

Russia, however, gave a clear response to Trump, stating that it has no objection if India is exploring new options for oil supply, and that this is nothing new. India is an independent country and can buy oil from any country. India has clarified its stance on the purchase of crude oil from Russia and Venezuela. Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that the country’s priority is the energy security of its 1.4 billion people. With this in mind, India continuously explores various options for crude oil and gas supplies from different countries.
