Taking possession is their modus operandi – sometimes on the streets, sometimes in the forests, and now even inside homes. For over 12 years, some Muslim families had illegally occupied houses in a colony in Sambhal. The administration issued notice after notice demanding that the houses be vacated, but the Muslim families remained unmoved. Now, the administration has taken action.
