Inna Makan, a single mother, is pleading for justice after her 23-year-old son, Sahil Dhaneshra, was killed in a horrific car crash in Delhi’s Dwarka on February 3, 2026. The accident involved a speeding Scorpio driven by a 17-year-old unlicensed minor, identified as Akshatra Singh, who was allegedly performing stunts to record Instagram reels with his sister. Sahil was reportedly sitting on his stationary bike when the SUV rammed into him at high speed, dragging him for several meters. Despite the gravity of the incident, the Juvenile Justice Board granted the minor interim bail to appear for his Class 10 board examinations. Makan expressed her heartbreak, stating, ‘He blew my innocent child on the spot… I am a helpless mother alone.’ While the minor’s father was briefly detained, the victim’s family and local residents are questioning the legal system’s failure to provide immediate accountability for the loss of a young life due to reckless social media stunts.
