In Dwarka, New Delhi, 23-year-old Sahil Dhaneshra was killed when his motorcycle was struck by a speeding SUV on February 3, 2026. The vehicle — a Mahindra Scorpio — was being driven without a valid licence by a 17-year-old boy who, according to the victim’s mother, was trying to shoot social media reels at high speed at the time of the crash. Police registered a case under rash driving and negligent conduct causing death, and the minor was initially sent to an observation home. However, he was granted interim bail on February 10 so he could sit for his Class 10 board examinations, even as investigations continue.
