In the Madhya Pradesh Assembly Budget Session 2026, a massive controversy erupted when Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya told Leader of Opposition Umang Singhar “Aukat Mein Raho” (Stay in your limits) during a heated debate over the Adani Group’s power purchase agreement worth 1.25 lakh crore rupees over 25 years from Singrauli. Umang Singhar raised serious questions on the deal, leading to chaos in the House. CM Mohan Yadav apologized in the assembly, but Vijayvargiya showed no remorse outside, saying “It happens sometimes… anger comes.”
