कर्नाटक के बागलकोट में शिवाजी जयंती पर जुलूस में पथराव और आगजनी की घटना सामने आई है. यहां शोभायात्रा के दौरान उपद्रवियों ने शिवाजी की प्रतिमा पर पत्थर और चप्पलें फेंकीं. सब्जियों के ठेले में आग लगा दी. इस घटना में तीन लोग घायल हुए हैं, जिनमें जिले के एसपी सिद्धार्थ, एक पुलिसकर्मी भी शामिल हैं. पत्थरबाजी के कारण इलाके में तनाव कायम है. एहतियात के तौर पर पंका मस्जिद और कोटलेश्वर मंदिर के पास सुरक्षा बढ़ा दी गई है. इलाके में भारी पुलिसबल की तैनाती है.
Stone pelting and arson occurred during a Shivaji Jayanti procession in Bagalkot, Karnataka. During the procession, miscreants threw stones and slippers at the Shivaji statue and set a vegetable cart on fire. Three people were injured in the incident, including the district Superintendent of Police, Siddhartha, and a policeman. Tension prevailed in the area due to the stone pelting. As a precaution, security has been increased near the Panka Mosque and the Kotleshwar Temple. A heavy police presence has been deployed in the area.
