उत्तर प्रदेश विधानसभा के बजट सत्र के दौरान समाजवादी पार्टी के विधायक कमाल अख्तर ने रमजान में मस्जिदों से सहरी और इफ्तार की घोषणाओं की अनुमति मांगी. जिसका जवाब देते हुए मंत्री सुरेश खन्ना ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट के आदेश का हवाला देते हुए कहा कि रात 10 बजे बाद लाउडस्पीकर पर रोक है. यह आदेश सरकार का नहीं है.
During the budget session of the Uttar Pradesh Assembly, Samajwadi Party MLA Kamal Akhtar requested permission to make announcements for Sehri and Iftar from mosques during Ramadan. In response, Minister Suresh Khanna, citing a Supreme Court order, said that loudspeakers are prohibited after 10 p.m. This order is not from the government.
