Pramod Krishnam, the head of the Kalki Peeth, issued a controversial statement regarding loudspeakers. He said that those who don’t know Islam should not discuss it, and that “is Allah deaf that loudspeakers are needed?” Krishnam stated that Islam and Ramadan are based on devotion and intention. The Samajwadi Party also strongly objected to his statement, comparing it to DJ music during Hindu festivals.
कलकी पीठ के पीठाधीश्वर प्रमोद कृष्णम ने लाउडस्पीकर को लेकर एक विवादित बयान दिया। प्रमोद कृष्णम ने कहा कि जिन्हें इस्लाम की जानकारी नहीं वो बात ना करें और क्या अल्लाह मियां बहरे हैं जो लाउडस्पीकर की जरूरत पड़ेगी। कृष्णम का यह कहना है कि इस्लाम और रमजान इबादत और नियत से चलते हैं। उनके इस बयान पर समाजवादी पार्टी ने भी सख्त ऐतराज जताया। हिंदू त्यौहारों में डीजे से इसकी तुलना कर दी है।
