A video has gone viral claiming that Afghan defensive forces shot down a Pakistani fighter jet during the recent escalation in fighting between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Tensions along the Durand Line have sharply escalated after a series of cross-border airstrikes and military operations between Afghanistan and Pakistan. The Taliban-led Afghan government says its forces carried out retaliatory strikes and offensive operations against Pakistani military posts in response to recent Pakistani air attacks.
