Flight operations across the world have been severely disrupted due to the escalating conflict in the Middle East, leaving millions of passengers stranded at airports in Dubai, Doha, and other locations. Air India has cancelled over 20 flights to and from the Middle East, citing passenger and crew safety as the highest priority. Indigo has suspended flights to the region until 2nd March. Middle Eastern carriers including Etihad, Qatar Airways, and Emirates have also cancelled flights to and from Abu Dhabi and Qatar. The airspace over 11 Middle Eastern nations has been closed temporarily following missile and drone strikes. The Dubai International Airport was hit by debris from a drone strike, and casualties have been reported in Abu Dhabi. Indian passengers are stranded at multiple airports, with the Indian government and embassies working to assist them, including extending visas where necessary. Flights to the UK, Europe, the US, and Canada via the Middle East have also been affected.
