Iranian media reports indicate that Mojtaba Khamenei, the second eldest son of the late Supreme Leader, has been elected as the next leader. In response to Israeli strikes, Iran has launched missile and drone attacks targeting sites in Israel and neighbouring nations in West Asia. Gulf nations including the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia have reported repeated Iranian attacks in recent hours, demonstrating Iran’s continued military capacity despite claims by Israeli and US authorities.
