A tragic accident has been reported in Assam after an Indian Air Force Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighter jet crashed shortly after taking off from the Jorhat airbase. The aircraft reportedly lost radar contact around 7:42 PM during a routine training mission, triggering an immediate search and rescue operation. The fighter jet later crashed in the Karbi Anglong district, about 60 kilometers from Jorhat. The Indian Air Force confirmed that two pilots on board were killed in the crash, and officials have expressed condolences to the families of the officers.
